Wavelength Calculator (from Speed and Frequency)
Use this calculator to determine the wavelength of a wave using the wave's speed and frequency. Applicable to sound, light, and other wave phenomena.

What this calculator is doing
Wavelength (\( \lambda \)) is the spatial distance between consecutive peaks (or troughs) of a wave. It is calculated using the rearranged wave speed formula:
\[ \lambda = \frac{v}{f} \]
Where:
\( \lambda \) = Wavelength (meters, m)
\( v \) = Wave speed (meters per second, m/s)
\( f \) = Frequency (Hertz, Hz)
This calculator takes wave speed and frequency as inputs and outputs the wavelength in meters.
