Wave Speed Calculator
Use this calculator to determine the speed of a wave based on its frequency and wavelength. It works for sound waves, electromagnetic waves, and mechanical waves.

What this calculator is doing
The speed of a wave is the rate at which it travels through a medium, and is calculated using the wave equation:
\[ v = f \cdot \lambda \]
Where:
\( v \) = Wave speed (meters per second, m/s)
\( f \) = Frequency (Hertz, Hz)
\( \lambda \) = Wavelength (meters, m)
This calculator uses frequency and wavelength as inputs and returns the wave speed. It assumes constant medium properties and linear wave behavior.
