Centripetal Force Calculator
Use this calculator to compute the centripetal force acting on an object in uniform circular motion. Provide the object's mass, speed, and radius of the circular path.

What this calculator is doing
Centripetal force is the net force that keeps an object moving in a circular path. It is always directed toward the center of the circle and is calculated using:
\[ F_c = \frac{mv^2}{r} \]
Where:
\( F_c \) = Centripetal Force (Newtons, N)
\( m \) = Mass of the object (kilograms, kg)
\( v \) = Velocity or speed of the object (meters per second, m/s)
\( r \) = Radius of the circular path (meters, m)
This calculator outputs the centripetal force required to maintain the circular motion.
